The maintenance of the mud pump cannot be overlooked. Regularly disassemble the pump body of the mud pump and clean the residual sediment and impurities inside. If these impurities accumulate for a long time, they will exacerbate the wear of the internal parts of the pump body, leading to abnormal operation of the pump. At the same time, check whether the impeller and sealing ring of the mud pump are damaged. If the impeller has cracks or the sealing ring is aged, it is necessary to replace the parts in time to ensure the suction and delivery capacity of the mud pump and avoid interruption of mud circulation due to pump failure.
The maintenance of mud purification equipment is also crucial. The mud purification equipment of a reverse circulation drill can filter impurities from the mud and maintain its performance. Workers need to regularly clean the filter screen of the purification equipment. If the filter screen is blocked, it will affect the purification effect, leading to excessive impurities in the mud, which in turn will affect the quality of drilling. In addition, check the operation of the motor of the purification equipment. If the motor makes abnormal noises or heats up, it needs to be stopped for inspection and troubleshooting before continuing to use, to ensure that the overall operation of the mud circulation system is stable and does not delay the construction progress.
